Welcome!

Hello, gang! First, I'd like to welcome you all to our new and improved community site! As much as I and most of you love the old forums it's time to dive into "web 2.0" thing I've been hearing so much about. As Warren Graff and Ken Pontac will attest to, I'm kinda slow in picking up this whole "social networking" trend. With their guidance and with the help of our Web Master Cliff Malloy and Chief Engineer/Content Manager Zdravomir "Z" Staykov (he's Scotty and Chekov all rolled into one!), I'm learning to use this new site and all it's features and functions. I'm hoping you'll all join us as we build a new community here and make this new place even better than the old forums!

For my part, I'm starting a blog in my little corner of this place that I'm hoping to update as frequently as my schedule will allow (famous last words. I've probably jinxed it already!). "Blog" is such a weird word. I can't help but sing the Log song from Ren & Stimpy in my head whenever I hear that word. "It's blog, it's blog, it's big, it's heavy it's wood!"

But I digress... For this ~~log~~ blog, I'm hoping to share with you guys some "behind-the-scenes" stories, pictures, drawings, funny coffee stains, and whatever other tid-bits float up to the surface while we work on this crazy show called "Happy Tree Friends." I may let you know what I'm currently playing, watching, reading, if you guys are interested in that. Or maybe, I'll just post some silly comment, a link to something I found on the web or just tell you what I had for lunch... Mmm... lunch...

You're already riveted, I can tell.

Finally, a quick word about comments and overall conduct around these here parts. I hate to be "the man" about this sort of stuff but I would ask for everyone to please be respectful and courteous to not only myself (I have a fragile ego) but to all the administrators, users and members on this site. Let's all be cool and we'll have a great time! End of Public service announcement.
